Businesses ignore gender at their peril. This is important externally, as you develop new products and services, and internally, as you seek to retain talent. Gender broadens perspective, so that products reflect the differential experiences of women and men. Importantly, this helps create items/services useful to more potential customers: women and men, boys and girls. It also ensures that you are developing structures that value talent and skill no matter the person’s gender.
