Camille has contributed 15 years of leadership to the financial services industry. She leads as a SVP; Business Strategy and Initiatives Manager within the Global Commercial Bank at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this role, Camille influences GCB revenue growth through new client acquisition and client deepening while aligning to the firm’s responsible growth strategy.

After a life in the healthcare industry, Ms. John joined the firm in 2006 as a Business Support Manager for U.S. Trust. Camille was instrumental in implementing a fiduciary review process and leading several aspects of the US Trust merger transition.

After her role in stabilizing the integration of Bank of America Private bank with US Trust, Camille moved to Global Commercial Bank, as a Sales Support Manager supporting four regional businesses within Healthcare, Education and Not for Profit (formerly Specialized Industries) throughout the east coast.

Camille holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Howard University and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. She is also board registered as a Medical Technologist through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

Camille is based in the Greater Washington area, most recently served as a chair for Greater Washington Black Professional Group (a bank employee resource group). She recently served on the Diversity and Inclusion Council providing influential leadership as a culture carrier on the sustainability of diverse teams. In addition, Camille serves on the board of Fair Chance (a capacity building organization benefitting DC’s impoverished youth). She’s a founding member of Black Women Ready to Lead (BWRTL) a leadership development network focused on mid-career level multicultural women in the Greater Washington area. Camille routinely speaks at local organizations in an effort to drive responsible growth through financial literacy discussions utilizing Better Money HabitsTM. Camille holds various recognition awards most recently a Diversity and Inclusion award for her contribution to her local employee networks and BWRTL. She is married, loves photography and travel.
