Maurice Bakley currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Education Week, where he leads the organization's growth strategy in the media and information sector, and is active in NextGen Venture Partners, a network driven investment firm. Prior to joining Education Week, he was President of FierceMarkets, a DC-based digital media and marketing firm that grew from an angel-backed startup and was successfully sold (twice) to private equity acquirers. Maurice began his career with startup roles in media and financial services in Poland and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
