Stacey Price has over 18 years of experience activating community. Currently acting as a Washington, DC based consultant, she nurtures independent business and closely advises municipalities, developers, and non-profits to plan, create and manage projects that grow the local economy. As a recovering retailer, she has coupled her background in business and PR with her passion for education and vibrant local economy to help scale 100s of independent retail brands.

Creatively connecting community and commerce is her strategy for vibrant ecosystems. In only 10 months, her latest project, Shop Made in DC- a retail incubator and cafe dedicated to only products made in DC, has generated nearly $600,000 back to local makers. As former Executive Director of Think Local First DC, Stacey formally supported a network of 500 local businesses, helping launch incubator programs such as MADE IN DC and StartUP Kitchen and worked on policy supporting independent business growth.
